separation. Each section contains the information and
forms necessary to process a legal separation case. In addition,
you may review a variety of instructional brochures which provide basic
information related to terms used in dissolution of marriage proceedings,
service of process, and interim or temporary orders. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader

You should visit the Dissolution of Marriage Terms and Resources and the Simplified Domestic Relations pages to get a better understanding of legal separation actions. Legal Separation Without ChildrenIf you do not have children, you should follow the procedures and complete the forms which are set forth in the Legal Separation Without Children Brochure. The forms which are included on this page are interactive. The areas with blanks may be completed on the computer you are using and either printed out, signed and filed or saved to your hard drive for future use. You will only use the Affidavit for Decree Without Appearance of the Parties if you meet the conditions described more fully in the brochure. Contempt ProceedingsIf you are attempting to enforce an order of court, you may want to utilize contempt of court proceedings. Before doing so, you should carefully read the Contempt Citation Proceedings Brochure. You must obtain personal service of process upon the other party no later than twenty days before the first appearance for the matter to proceed forward. Read the Service of Process Brochure carefully before going forward. |
