domestic violence and in obtaining Protection Orders. Each section contains the information and
forms necessary to process a Protection Order case. In addition,
you may review a variety of instructional brochures which provide basic
information related to terms used in Protection Order proceedings,
service of process, and interim or temporary orders. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader

Domestic Violence ResourcesIf you believe that you are the victim of domestic violence, you may go to the Domestic Violence Resources page and obtain information regarding resources to assist you. If you do not desire to go to that page, you may remain at this page and obtain Domestic Violence Resources information in Adobe Acrobat format. The City and County of Broomfield Domestic Violence Resources are also available in Adobe Acrobat format. If you believe that you are the victim of domestic violence but are not certain what constitutes domestic violence, a brochure on definition of what constitutes Domestic Violence and suggestions as to how to deal with Domestic Violence may be of assistance to you. Return to Top↑ Protection OrdersIf you are seeking a protection order to protect yourself or your children, you should follow the procedures and complete the forms which are set forth in the Protection Order Brochure. The forms which are included on this page are interactive. The areas with blanks may be completed on the computer you are using and either printed out, signed and filed or saved to your hard drive for future use. Additionally, there are videos available in the Self-Help Center at the Adams County Justice Center to assist you in processing your case. Finally, information as to when and where packets can be picked up or processed for the Seventeenth Judicial District and the judicial districts surrounding the Seventeenth Judicial District may be of assistance to you.
