Adams County Child Support Enforcement (CSE) establishes and enforces Orders to make Non-Custodial Parents (parents who are out of the home) help pay for the financial and medical support of their children. Child Support Collections eliminate or reduce the need for Public Assistance, and help to repay the Public Assistance Fund. The Adams County Child Support Enforcement Unit provides the following types of services:
Adams County Custodial Parents receiving Public Assistance (Colorado Works Temporary Assistance to Needy Families or Medicaid) are automatically eligible for CSE Services at no fee. When Custodial Parents go off Public Assistance, CSE will continue to collect all Current and Past Due Money owed to Custodial Parents until the child turns 19 years of age (or the Custodial Parent asks CSE to stop); and CSE will continue to collect any money still owed to the Colorado Public Assistance Fund. Return to Top↑ Adams County Custodial Parents not receiving Public Assistance may apply for CSE services to establish and enforce Child Support Orders (whether in the State of Colorado or outside of Colorado) for a one-time fee of $20.00.
