Magistrate Bley graduated from Utah State University in Logan, Utah in 1978 with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Environmental Studies.  He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado in 1981.  He was admitted to the practice of law May, 1982.  Before becoming a Magistrate, He was a Deputy State Public Defender and in the private practice of law.  He has served as a Magistrate in the Seventeenth Judicial District since May, 2007.
