A History of the Seventeenth Judicial District

The Seventeenth Judicial District for the State of Colorado includes Adams County and the City and County of Broomfield. There are eleven District Court Judges, seven County Court Judges and seven Magistrates who serve on the bench in the Seventeenth Judicial District. The Seventeenth Judicial District is the fifth largest judicial district in the State of Colorado. The court serves over four hundred fifty nine thousand people including residents of two counties and ten municipalities or towns.
